Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy promotes health, well-being, and independence through occupations, or simply the things we do on a daily basis to occupy our time. A child's primary occupations are play, self-care, and learning. Sometimes, children have trouble participating in their occupations. Our occupational therapists are trained to evaluate and treat motor skills, self-help skills, and social-emotional regulation skills using sensory, motor, and neuro-based strategies. Occupational therapists promote progress and independence using tasks and activities that are purposeful and meaningful to the child.

Crown Pediatric offers occupational therapy evaluation and intervention for children from birth to 18.
